Episode Description
Michael Vilches is the founder of Man Under Construction. In this episode, Michael tells the story of his childhood; his parent’s divorce, his absent father, and his reliance on his mother. As an adolescent, he became addicted to porn. That addiction led to problems in his first marriage which ultimately ended in divorce.
When he hit rock bottom he knew he had to change. Michael researched and started the process of healing. He realized the effect of his parent’s divorce and his father’s absence on his development, began to understand why he used porn and what void he was trying to fill, and began to construct the mature masculine version of himself so that he could be a great father and great husband to his new wife.
Michael helps other men through Man Under Construction. He offers encouragement to men on their journey and discusses relevant topics on his Instagram page and through his The Man Under Construction podcast.
